Like everyone else, fun!   For me, that means making things better.  I like:

1. helping people (often groups of people) figure out how to work and live better.  The main focus is human systems, but making technical things work better is fun too.

2. good company.  Living well always includes community involvement and good friends.*
Why the hat?  Is it:
   a. religious observance
   b. denial of baldness
   c. fondness for hats
   d. extra storage for spare
       kindling and marbles
   e. none of the above
Answer: e.  Actually, it's medical.  Years
ago, multiple sunburns caused a pre-
cancerous condition of the scalp.  I was told
to protect the scalp from sunlight or other
bright light so the condition will not progress.
I have.  So it hasn't.  It's worked.

Hey Matt, what's with the hatt?
Chirp!
CHIRPS
Who is this for?
Very few --- It isn't interesting.
Unless you're a close relative or spouse,
you can find better things to do.
I do NOT want to
1.  tell other people what to do
2.  hold any office
3.  control finances
4.  do administration
5.  run meetings or take minutes

I certainly do want to contribute, but
not in the usual ways.  I can do
more for the community informally.

That sums up my post-retirement
direction and approach.
What do I Want?
*  Hmmm.... that's why human beings remain my preferred species.
